Visit the Sonora desert
Experience the ritual of the Bufo Alvarius
Together with ethnocultural and certified spiritual guides from the Seri tribe of Punta Chueca.

The Otac toad from the desert is endemic of these lands. The indigenous self-determined villages and towns of the Sonoran coastline: Punta Chueca, Desemboque, Bahia de Kino and the city of Hermosillo are the scenario of our traveling retreat, discovery and experience.

From the nearest airport of Hermosillo (HMO)
We offer welcome, reception, lodging and personalized guided program: travel across the desert to the coast for sessions of traditional medicine and ethnocultural discoveries.

WE INVITE YOU,
The seeker, the curious, the explorer, the challenger, the brave…

Example given of a 3-day program:
1) Reception and lodging in Hermosillo historic district (HMO) with dinner included for Bufo dieta
2) Travel to Punta Chueca and navigate by boat to the ISLA TIBURON, sacred island of the tribe.
The ritual of the Bufo Alvarius will take place on the island, a pristine wild and magical environment. This is the largest island in Mexico, yet it is a natural reservation, without human settlements (except a Mexican navy outpost).
The ISLA TIBURON is a mystical place where whoever took the challenge of THE WAY OF THE SHAMAN accepted to stay for weeks on end as shamanic initiation. At sunset we will return to Punta Chueca and lodge there*.
3) Options and/or extensions*: visit the medicine woman of the Triqui community in the town of Miguel Aleman, return to Hermosillo for flight back or lodge

* extensions: extended stay in Punta Chueca, night visits to the sacred hills, “way of the shaman” initiation, attend shamanic teachings from members of the Council of the Elders
